Salvador Sellarés and Maria Lluïsa Casas opened “El Tiberi” in June 1980. It was the first restaurant in the province of Tarragona to offer a buffet with the distinction of Traditional Catalan Cuisine.
In 1990 their son Albert took over the business maintaining the same style of cuisine that until today, more than 40 years later, has pleased our audience so much and has turned “El Tiberi” into one of the leading restaurants of Tarragona.
We are where we are because we have believed in the traditional cuisine, our roots and our land. We have a deep respect for our environment, so we have always offered cuisine that speaks of the seasons, natural and local products, orchard, and sea.
Nowadays we feel proud to offer a menu with more than 40 traditional dishes that summarizes the experience of all these years between stoves and keep pleasing everyone who visits us.
